"Almost as comical as your football team."
So Long, Hairbreadth. Husky Comics would like to note the passing of cartoonist Bob McClausen. Long-time Husky fans will remember Mr. McClausen as the creator of the Hairbreadth Husky comic strips that appeared in the P-I in the 1960's and 1970's.

Mr. McClausen brought joy and mirth to the Washington faithful during a period when the football team had varying success on and off the field. Through the highs and lows of the Jim Owens era and the initial stumbles and then early success of Don James' reign, there was one constant: Hairbreadth Husky.

Our best wishes go out to the McClausen family, and we hope that today's Dawgs fans will always remember the original "Husky Comic" artist and the happiness he brought to the Husky Nation.
